General Editing

General editing is a combination of workshopping and copy editing: while reviewing and thinking of ways to improve a piece, I examine the organization; spelling; and grammar; and then rewrite as necessary to make it shine. Hiring me for general editing means you’ll have an excellent finished piece of writing based on your original work.

Since general editing is based on writing you initially provide, it costs a great deal less than hiring me to write something from scratch. In general, I charge $50 an hour for general editing, but this amount may change depending on the content and the length of the total work you need done. Contact me for a quote to learn more.
